Mashed potatoes and purple cauliflower

4 potatoes
1 purple cauliflower
salt
pepper
olive oil
1 tablespoon of salt to the water
Put 2 pots to boil water and salt
thyme if u have

1 for the
cauliflower  ( cut  into pieces)
/ 20 min in boiling water with the lid on otherwise loses the color
to know if the cabbage is ready, take a kitchen tongs
and feel the stem of the cabbage
if soft and ready
Drain the cabbage and jump with garlic and hot oil
  thyme and finely chopped
cooking for 15 minutes

1 for potatoes
45 min in boiling water
If you are not sure that the potato is ready
prick the potato with a fork
if it comes easily is ready
if not, leave the potatoes to boil again
potato peel removed
Put in a bowl with some olive oil
and crushed potatoes with a fork in
  mashed potatoes
Add the cabbage and mix together gently
(add a tablespoon butter or two)

adjust with salt and pepper
and a pinch of parsley
